The Role

We’re looking for an Account Director to join our ever-growing UK retail sales team. You will be responsible for managing a designated account portfolio and drive activity and growth to achieve specific targets around our industry leading ecommerce platform and supporting services. The role will be to educate drive digital and ecommerce strategy within our retail account base. By enabling through product and services a transformation program, you will develop the account at all levels. Typically, you will be expected to manage up to 25 customers, by acting as the primary point of contact and responsible for managing all aspects of their relationship with GForces.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a “Trusted Advisor” role for all our products and services throughout all levels of the clients organisation

Pro-actively engage with your assigned portfolio of customer to ensure they’re informed on the latest product releases,

software updates and marketing initiatives available from GForces

Implement and educate on a digital retailing strategy by introducing additional products and services to customers.

Provide a deep level understanding of data that is relevant to the client and present actionable activities from its findings

Lead and devise customer review monthly and quarterly review meetings to KPI’s and agreed with the client.

Accurate management of CRM records for all customers including detailed notes on the customer relationship, contact points, contract renewals, products and monthly opportunity and invoicing

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reporting and insight

Required Experience:
A minimum of five years’ experience in sales/account management, held in either automotive or a digitally focused role

An understanding of Software as a Service (SAAS) based products and the benefits of solution-based products

An understanding of DMS and Showrooms systems an advantage

A passion to help clients improve

A willingness to learn and develop within the Retail Sales Team.

A hardworking and determined work ethic with ambition and integrity

Excellent telephone, video and written communication skills

Ability to successfully and productively resolve problems in order to meet targets and expectations

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data constructively to improve the performance of client’s digital strategy

Ability to drive the conception and development of innovative, engaging, on-brief digital ideas for clients


From £40,000 per annum plus commission
