Summary Description:

The Account Manager represents the vital link between Columbia Landcare (CLC) and its valued landscape management clients and is responsible for arranging, scheduling, and directing daily delivery of services in accordance with the performance specifications for each assigned property.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

A minimum of three (3) years of landscape management experience.

Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Demonstrated aptitude to assure all responsibilities are consistently and efficiently met on a stand-alone basis or with limited supervision.

Capacity to make critical judgments, problem solve and have a strict attention to detail.

Knowledge:

Demonstrated functioning knowledge of landscape terminology.

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions:

Varies daily and throughout the day depending upon the demands of the company and its customers. Work will occur in an office environment, in vehicles and outside on client’s property.

Duties/Responsibilities

Columbia LandcareManagement:

Familiarity with the contracts and performance specifications for each assigned landscape property is essential to assure both performance and profitability.

Help create proposals for contract renewals and production reviews for new properties in accordance with both established company procedures and in a manner that considers the unique attributes and service requirements for properties.

Client Relations and Service:

Serve as the primary, front line point of contact with assigned clientele. Establishing strong long-term relationships is vital for the strength of CLC’s business.

Continually keep clients informed of the status of completed and upcoming work that is being performed for them by CLC.

Immediately inform clients of any situation that affects the timely completion of their projects or that otherwise might negatively impact their investment.
