Job Description

Are you a results-driven New Business Sales professional, specialising in Business Information solutions, with proven consultative sales abilities and a history of winning B2B data deals? This opportunity could see you joining a recognised and high performing team with a continued track record of year on year growth!

This is a passionate team engaging in new business sales with both new and existing high potential clients across a broad market sector. If you are an inquisitive individual, believing in superior customer engagements and outcomes, with a genuine interest in the value of innovation to solve customer problems then this will be a winning combination for you.

Ideally we are looking for individuals with backgrounds in Insurance, Wealth Life & Pensions, Collections and Partnerships & Alliances – these are fundamental areas of our business and absolutely key to the overall success of the team.

Our Business Information solutions cover the full range of requirements within B2B Marketing, Commercial Credit Risk and Financial Crime. Experian are strongly placed in the market through our data strength and insight that and can offer huge value to clients in understanding businesses, the opportunities with them and the associated risks.

Your focus will be to identify, develop and close new business development opportunities primarily with new clients, selling Experian’s Business Information product solutions. The position is a sales role, responsible for the proactive generation of new sales opportunities and management through the complete sales cycle to contract execution. Whilst you will be a self-starter capable of picking up and running with projects in isolation you will have access to a wide ranging level of support to assist you. A close working relationship with the vertical account teams and product /domain owners will be vital to your success. A capability to build and maintain your internal network is fundamental.

The role requires strong credibility to articulate and explain the solutions and how they can be evaluated and deployed in market and the value that they can bring to our customers. You will also possess a high level of understanding of the business services market and their purchase cycle together with experience of selling through new solutions ideally in any of the aforementioned sectors.
