Title: Business Development Manager
EzyCollect is an Australian-founded B2B startup on a mission to eliminate late payments! We put smart technology in the hands of ambitious businesses, so they have the cash and confidence to manifest their dreams. Our invoice-to-payments subscription software complements accounting/ERP software (MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP etc.) to automate the process of getting paid. We are expanding our products and services as well as our team! We are a team of over 75 across Australia, Brazil, and the Philippines and are looking to hire those with curiosity and grit who get excited about having a big impact in a growing startup. We have some exciting plans for the future, with an IPO and international expansion expected in 2022.
The Business Development Rep supports revenue-growth of the company as it expands into new markets by
driving calls and email activity at the top of the funnel with inbound and outbound leads in target verticals
building and nurturing relationships with channel partners
You will lead the way for expansion into the USA and will work closely with the rest of the go-to-market teams.
At this stage in our journey of delivering awesomeness, we are looking to rapidly expand our sales teams while maintaining the high standards we have set and achieved so far.
An individual successful in this role will have the future opportunity to lead a larger business development team as ezyCollect continues to grow in new markets.
You are good at
Identifying and researching lists of companies to target,
Pitching and generating interest in prospects,
Qualifying prospects and applying a sales methodology in your conversations with prospects (ideally the Sandler system or similar)
Managing a pipeline of prospects based on their different life cycle stages and ensuring a steady flow at both ends of the pipeline
Intensive focus on developing new opportunities for the sales team through outbound qualification research, prospecting calls, attendance at trade shows, etc.
High volume, cold and warm calling to generate interest, qualify leads, and book in product tours for the account executives
Gather market insights to inform our growth strategy, increase conversions, and generate more qualified leads
Identifying potential opportunities for strategic partnerships including; market analysis, business case and direct customer contact
Acquire domain expertise in all things A/R automation and the impact of digital payments on the back-office accounts receivable operations
Advance relationships with existing channel partners (including value-added resellers of ERPs, credit reporting agencies and other complementary solutions)
Proactively use our CRM to document all conversations, activities, track tasks, track results, and maintain your day to day in the role
Deliver strategic reporting to senior leadership to provide insights on performance, trends and achievements
Partner with sales team to implement sales and pipeline building strategies
The role requirements
At least 3 years of selling experience with at least one of those selling B2B financial or ERP solutions in North America (bonus for selling in to ERP’s like Acumatica, Netsuite and Sage products)
Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives, with Experience calling into the CXO and working level members of finance teams
