Responsible for analyzing data from a broad range of sales activities and translating it into actionable insights for leadership.
Specific duties include:
Leverage business intelligence tools to automate existing reporting and develop new reports and dashboards on Sales KPIs, performance reporting, and post-campaign insights.
Deep dive data analysis and research, with ability to manipulate, analyze, and trend results.
Perform audience composition analysis and create customized models.
Analyze program grids and various demographic reporting to better target sales.
Develop and implement solutions that meet operational improvements which aligns with day-to-day business needs.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve mass media attribution, forecasting, and propensity models.
Run correlation, clustering, segmentation analysis as required, to understand the data.
End-to-end management of predictive modeling processes. This includes data gathering, data validation, model building, calibration, cross-validation, and maximizing model accuracy.
Interpret and validate model results with statistical checks.
Assist in identifying opportunistic areas of growth within existing mass media campaigns to increase profitability.
Assist in pre and post log collection to identify performance trends within the current week and ensure accuracy of previous week’s schedules.
Design and build appropriate analysis tools and platforms according to marketing goals and improve the quality of marketing data and efficiency of marketing investment.
Identify the trends and best practices of the market and apply them to work in a timely manner.
This position involves periodic travel to China. Travel constitutes approximately 15% of the time.
Requires Master’s Degree or equivalent in a related field, such as a related Engineering degree.
Must also have one year of the following experience:
Experience in a corporate finance, operations or a related consulting role.
Experience in an analyst position.
Condensing large amounts of data into digestible, actionable information.
Use of SQL and Python to integrate, mine and analyze data based on the business requirements.
Use of regression to build sales forecasting model.
Use of Tableau and Power BI to develop new reports and dashboards on Sales KPIs, performance reporting and post-campaign insights.
Application of Agile method to manage working cycle.
Use of EDI and API to connect carriers and other open market channels’ data interface in order to acquire sales data.
Must be fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese in order to collaborate and communicate regularly with Chinese counterparts based at our affiliated entities in China.
Must be willing to travel periodically (15% of time) to China for business meetings with overseas counterparts.
